Client-Side Security Review
As external perimeters are becoming harder to penetrate, attackers has moved towards using vulnerabilities in client software to gain access to internal networks. No longer requiring an end user to click on an executable, attackers use vulnerabilities in common applications such as browsers, pdf readers, document processors and media players.
Penetration testing of client side applications provides an appraisal of how an organisations desktops, staff, and internal network would resist a targeted attack from a hostile source.
Review Can Include
- Targeted attacks against specific users, or all users
- Track which staff members, and how many users, click on malicious links
- Real exploitation of client side vulnerabilities to gain internal network access
- Identify true organisation exposure to these attacks
